Steven Tompkins is the Sheriff of Suffolk County, Massachusetts. He has extensive ties to the Israel lobby. He has taken at least three free trips to Israel, funded by the ADL, AIPAC’s American Israel Education Foundation, and the National Black Empowerment Council. He spoke on panels at several AIPAC events, including the 2020 Policy Conference. He was indicted in August 2025 for two counts of extortion under color of official right.
