This person is an employee of the State of Israel.
Shai Bazak is a former Israeli Consul General to New England, appointed in August 2010 to succeed Nadav Tamir. Before his diplomatic posting in Boston, he served as media adviser and spokesperson to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the 1990s and as Israeli consul in Florida and Puerto Rico. He left the Boston post in 2015.
