Deval Patrick is a former governor of Massachusetts. He has repeatedly shown support for the State of Israel. Patrick spoke at pro-Israel rallies, attended two AIPAC conferences, and launched the Massachusetts-Israel Innovation Partnership. He met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Shimon Peres, and appeared frequently with Israeli Consul Generals including Yehuda Yaakov and Zeev Boker.
